Release The Kraken:
This is next in my Kewpie-doll influenced mythological creature series. This one is entitled Release The Kraken. The portrait is built in Adobe illustrator; it is 5” x 7”, and the color scheme is based on the complimentary color scheme of red and green. I also wanted the image to be influenced by Japanese anime. Building the plaid skirt was a trip! A young schoolgirl has taken a quiet inhale in anticipation of a violent battle. In the portrait, we see her as she finds her power and releases that breath.
